Indoor Location Ideas Northern Utah

Utah weather can be a bit of a stress when it comes time to schedule family pictures, especially in the winter! I love having a few of these indoor locations ready to go in case of bad weather! However, some of them are so beautiful, you might just want to make them your plan A!

1. Utah State Capitol Building, Salt Lake City: Marble staircase/walls, good lighting, outdoor courtyard with fountain, beautiful blossoms outside in spring

Best time of year: Year Round, Spring/Summer if wanting trees outside! Sometimes we can sneak outside even if it is really cold and get a few outdoor shots in the courtyard! Works great to get both indoor and outdoor looks!

2. Provo City Library, Provo: Staircase, Sunlight archway, great outdoor options as well! I like to sneak outside the front doors even if the weather is bad and use the porch!

Best time of year: Year Round

3. Trolley Square, Downtown Salt Lake City: brick walls, interesting architecture, multiple staircases, outdoor courtyard if weather is good, industrial look

Best time of year: Year Round

4. Rent a Studio, multiple locations: Many photographers in Utah have studios for rent for pretty reasonable prices! Also, sometimes you can rent reception halls for an hourly rate if they don't have other events scheduled! Contact me for more information about this option!

Best time of year: Year Round
